Here is the story, if anyone can help him or just spread the word about these guys so this never happens again!

Well This story has been going on a while, and I’m fed up and I know I’m not going to get my car now……Please spread this story around the internet so no one ends up like me…..

It’s amazing, hearing stories about people getting scammed on TV and the internet, and all you think is “well that sucks.” I’ve bought hundreds of things on the internet and never had a problem other than a shipping delay or not receiving the right order, but this has always been corrected by the company I ordered from.
I never thought in a million years that I would ever be scammed, I only thought that those who were scammed were those that lacked common sense and were naive. If that’s the case, I’ve joined that group……..
I’ve wanted a Skyline since I was in my teens. And I thought I found one through Eric Thomas of Next Level Motorsport. I thought I did my homework too. I used to work for the FBI and I had my contacts check and see if there were any complaints against this company. My aunt is also a private investigator, I had her do the same. The business checked out. I had Eric send me his business license, and Eric’s business partner Justin Pace, who owns JDM Exchange and handles all of the logistics send me export certificates, HS-7′s, and Bill’s of Lading of other cars he (allegedly) imported. I extensively googled his name, and I found one, at most two posts of people who though he was a scam, but no one who actually stated that they were scammed by him. That seemed sufficient for me (In hindsight though, I should have listened to my gut instinct), so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Now I realize that all of these documents were forged.

Despite nearly everyone’s warnings on this site in December, I went ahead and purchased the 2002 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-SPEC II Nür, the cream of the crop of skyline’s, for $96,250 USD. There is no typo on the price there. That price included the car itself and compliance work. The car only had 12,000 km on it.
My plan was to hold onto it for a couple years, and then sell it for a profit so that I could buy a cheap house along with the money I earned in those 2 years. Now I’m nearly flat broke. If I am lucky, my car was illegally imported. If it’s not in the country (legally or illegally), then this will be a long and arduous civil case.

Just a little background about this deal. I have dealt with Justin primarily, and I’ll give him credit where credit is due, he is an EXCELLENT bullshitter. He acts like he knows a lot about importing, and he seems to have all of the answers. He is very good at diverting questions you ask him. I didn’t know a lot about importing, and what I did know he mentioned to me and “explained” how it worked, and like an idiot I bought it. He even has contacts in Japan, I actually talked to them and they told me that they had been dealing with Justin for a while. These are the extreme measures he took to fool me.
When push came to shove though, and I asked for the Bill of Lading which he stated he has, I noticed he started ducking me. I’ve asked for this document over a dozen times, and he has failed to provide it, each time providing a different excuse, such as power being out, internet not working, being sick, and this isn’t even a comprehensive list.

More stuff has popped up on the internet about these guys since I purchased the car. Justin Pace, owner of JDM Exchange in San Francisco and who lives in Antioch, CA and Eric Thomas, owner of Next Level Motorsport in Williston, VT are SCAMMERS.
I am former Marine with two year long deployments to Iraq, who is a combat veteran.
If anyone else is a member of other car forums, please spread this message along, I don’t want to see anyone else get scammed. Below are the following links of where I found connections to these guys (mostly Justin), they have popped up in the last couple months after I did further research. Apparently Justin used to own a company called JapImportUSA. I can’t find anyone who was scammed by them, but there is a lot of talk about them

I’ve spoken to Justin dozens of times, and **** a few times, and all three of us even had a conference call last night to try to sort things out.

Message to ****. I know you locked down registration, but feel free to invite Justin and Eric onto the forums, it’s only fair to allow them to defend themselves, even though I don’t see how that is possible when I paid for the car, it was supposed to be delivered June 22nd, and I still haven’t received it, or any documentation. If you could make this a sticky it would be much appreciated.

Hi, I personally know Eric Thomas. HE IS A SCAM! I also know all cars he posted on his website are from tradecarview.com He has never imported a car before. Also You can only get a Bill of Lading when the car has been shipped, on top of that the skyline is not legal in the U.S. without Federalizing the car which only can be done by J.K. Tech in the U.S. and the cost is $36,000 just for the work and it will be 2 years before you will receive the car from them. Did Eric state he has the car? because I know for a fact that car was sold a long time ago from Japan. I know what car it was. Eric Thomas also posted the car on dupontregistry.com along with other cars. He states that he federalizes the cars but he is not a registered RI with the NHTSA and EPA.

Sorry to hear of your purchase, sad to say, you will never see the money again and although there was a few criminal intent the police will say it’s a civil issue. To help you out give me the Bill of Lading number on the top right of the document and I can do a record search to see if that document is real.

What I would suggest is open a facebook group and start adding people and see who else comes up that has been scammed by Eric. Post it on forums too so it shows up in google.

Man, I am also interested in those Nissan Skylines, evry since 2Fast and 2Furious. Havn’t had money like that though. I visited that ad in Dupont Registry and even spoke to one of the guys in sales. Can’t remeber who I spoke with, but like I said before, I don’t have the money like that and to scammed closed to $100,000, I would be extremely upset, to have money like that, i woud’ve caught a plane out there asap and what’ve got my money back right on the spot. I’ve been scammed before, but that was only a couple of hundred bucks, your talking about nearly a HUNDERED
THOUSAND BUCKS!!!!! I really hope those guys pay and that person that got scammed gets his money back.

  6. David Jimenez says:

I was also scammed by Justin, total of a custom chopper valued at $30,000 plus $8,000 cash. This was almost 3 years ago. I have been lost at what to do. More of embarrassment than anything, but its nothing that i have forgotten, I would appreciate any help as well. Supposedly I had someone even call me that he was his parole officer, that they were trying to put him away, But, when i went to double check his info, i believe his .com was not the same as the real parole officer. Like I said any help is appreciated. (954)-687–8334

  7. ghettoracer says:

Interesting guys. I just spoke to a buddy of mine this early morning 3 am and he told me he just got scammed by this Justin Pace for $30,000 (deposit I suppose) on a Skyline. Apparently they had sign a contract and shake hands in person. My friend smelled Justin was fishy, but gave the deposit because his client really wanted a Skyline. Sounds like the scam is still on going. I hope the FBI is active in tracking this guy…

  8. [...] Complete Fail at BBB.  I do wonder if he intended to scam from the beginning why did he bother to registered with BBB?  I speculate that it was suppose to be legit initially.  But after he started the actual importing process, either it got too difficult, or maybe taking the deposit money and scram was much easier, or both was the reason he started scamming people. http://charlottewoodequestriancenter.com/myskylinegtr/2011/10/07/soldier-scammed-out-of-96250-by-nex... 10. Rob says:

I just found this by googleing nextlevelmotorsportllc. I have been getting txts and emails from one of these guys, About being able to sell my skyline. I did not know about any of this until I was just about to email him back with all the information/pictures, But I googl’d the name first. I’m very lucky to have found this, Because I’m sure I could have got scammed out of my own car some how.

  11. randomguy says:

All, I used to be close with Justin Michael Pace a few years back. Hopefully this information helps someone out, because this guy needs to be in prison for the hundreds of thousands of dollars he has conned people out of. His grandfather, whom he lives with at times when he blows all of his stolen money, is Bill Williams and owns elite business service in reno, nv. Idk if he is still alive, but hey it could help. He used to live with his uncle Dan(mentioned earlier) as well. His other uncle owns LT muffler and brakes, also in Reno, nv. His longtime girlfriend is/was Mhar-Vic Cordez, whom he has many children with. Did i mention he is a deadbeat father? Also, he is a sex offender and convicted felon. I’m pretty sure sex offenders have to register, so that may be a good way to find him or get him locked up. Not sure though about those laws. His previous businesses include japimportsusa.com as well as jdmpower.net. His previous contacts for cars in Japan were dolphin motors intl. as well as Japan auto direct, and he has never imported one car legally nor illegally. He can bullshit like no other and pretty much con his way out of any situation. Hope this can help someone out! :)
